Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ITI Fitter with expertise in Turning operations to join our production/maintenance team. The candidate will be responsible for fitting, assembling, and maintaining mechanical components and performing turning operations as per engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform fitting, assembling, and installation of mechanical parts as per design and quality standards.
Operate lathe machines to carry out turning operations (internal & external turning, threading, facing, etc.).
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements of mechanical equipment.
Use measuring instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy.
Follow safety standards and maintain a clean working environment.
Coordinate with the production team for smooth workflow.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
ITI Fitter certification from a recognized institute (Mandatory).
Knowledge of Turning operations on lathe machines.
Understanding of mechanical assembly, fitting, and alignment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Basic knowledge of safety standards in workshop operations.
Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
