Job Title: Field Officer ZED Certification Outreach (Weaving Sector)

Job Summary:
We are seeking dynamic and motivated Field Officers to engage directly with weavers and artisans to promote the ZED (Zero Defect Zero Effect) Bronze Certification under the MSME initiative. The role involves field visits, awareness building, and guiding weavers in understanding the value and benefits of the ZED scheme, with a focus on sustainable production, quality improvement, and government support.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct field visits to meet individual weavers, weaving clusters, and artisan groups.
Educate and inform weavers about the ZED Bronze Certification, its objectives, and how it benefits their business and craftsmanship.
Distribute informative materials (flyers, brochures, etc.) and explain the steps for registration and certification.
Help weavers understand the zero defect and zero effect concept, focusing on quality assurance and eco-friendly practices.
Motivate eligible weavers to enroll in the ZED certification program and assist them with the application process if needed.
Collect data and feedback from the field regarding awareness levels, challenges, and support requirements.
Build strong relationships with local weaver communities and cooperative societies.
Submit daily/weekly reports on outreach activities and progress.
Work closely with the central coordination team and participate in training sessions, review meetings, and promotional events.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 10+2 (Higher Secondary); a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Rural Development, or any related field is preferred.
Prior experience in community outreach, government schemes, or working with artisans is a plus.
Good communication skills in Hindi and local dialect (e.g., Bhojpuri/Awadhi depending on region).
Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills.
Basic knowledge of MSME schemes and rural industry benefits is desirable.
Ability to work independently, travel extensively, and manage time efficiently.
Familiarity with smartphones, WhatsApp, and basic digital tools for reporting.
